The message of this story is that God has made each one of us special and different - black, white, noisy or quiet, good or bad. We can say 'sorry' when we are bad, and we can show other people they are special too. On the inside back cover there is a mirror, and on the opposite page: 'Here is a very special person. This special person is you!' The illustrations are special too.
