A parable. The waterbugs promise one another that the next one who climbs up the lily stalk and disappears will come back to tell the others where he has gone. The water bug who next climbs the stalk discovers that he has become a dragonfly and can't return to tell his friends under water about his new and wonderful life. This being a religious publication, prayers are included, and a section called 'What parents can say'. There is also a short bibliography. We used this story in assemblies at our school when a child died tragically, and it seemed to provide much comfort.
