A lonely little girl, curiously grown up and sedate in telling about herself, has a friend - a rabbit her own size called Aldo. When she is bullied at school, or her parents quarrel, or she is frightened at night, Aldo comes and helps. They do magical things together, but he is her secret alone. Sometimes she has good days when she plays with friends, but she knows he will always be there when needed. Almost painful in its beauty and simplicity.
